Deadline: September 15, 2023

Getty-CIHA International Program invites participants from countries with emerging economies to attend the 36th CIHA Congress in Lyon, France, 23-28 June 2024

As the principle of such a congress is to make it possible to meet on site and to stimulate exchanges and the establishment of an international network of thought and work, it is essential to make such an event possible in person and to encourage the participation of researchers from economically less favored regions.

Getty funding will support 20 fellows whose proposal has been accepted for a paper or a panel and for whom the economic conditions represent an absolute constraint, to fully attend the conference and to benefit from particularly favorable conditions for their integration into the conference community. The grant covers transportation, accommodation and congress registration fees1. The organizers also wish to optimize the opportunities for meetings and exchanges through a dedicated program for the grantees.

Please, find more information on the dedicated application platform.
Applications must be submitted by 15 September 2023 at the latest via this platform :

This call for grants is closed.

1 The Grant will cover the economy class ticket to and from Lyon, seven nights of accommodation (breakfast included), a 7-day transportation pass and the congress registration fees.
